Momma's got a Garden Cave and a Sea Cave

I have 2 mom caves. The one is in the family room ( which really should be called the mom room ) in our house.
I just yesterday got a big flat screen tv to make it even more of a mom cave.
It is flowery and feminine, and comfy as can be.

I like to put my feet up!

And I like to take a plain old table , white wash it and touch it up with some stencle
.To make it look like this:

My little garden theme. The best part is these are slipcovers on the sofa. so I can switch them out to white or green checks like the chair any time I want! I love my little mom cave at the homestead.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But even more, my truely best mom cave is my entire house down the shore. Peace and oblivion reign.

I love every room, let me take you there... and I feel as if it is "my domain"
My favorite has to be the back sunroom overlooking the ocean!

And the kids have been known to say. " Mom you are always in a better mood down here"...daaaahhh ..a no brainer.

Of course I am!
That pretty blue table is a "home goods" moment.
An "I love it and have to have it now", kind of moment!.. I bought 2. A rare thing to be able to do, if you are a Home goods groupie!.. score!

Now let's go downstairs to the living area.
The living room is  a great place to snuggle and watch tv in another comfy  slip covered sofa  that can be solid white when  I want it to. And my blue and green and cream Home goods candle. :)

The porch is a great place to catch a nap while the sun streams in and the sea breezes blow.

The porch is also where ..
La Piece de Resistance is

A piece I could not resist at Home Goods, just inspired an entire re-do of this lonely corner of the porch! And the lamp,... HGHH....(a Home Goods Had to Have)

All came together so beautifully!

That's my favorite momma cave! The Cottage Beach House for more info click away!

Never heard of Momma Caves before. I love the concept. My cave is my office upstairs. Right now it is the one way up and downstairs while we are under construction, but usually, it is a peaceful spot out of the hustle and bustle of a busy home. Just love your beach hideaway. Beauty.
